The air ambulance lands at the scene of the crash on Grange Road


A MAN whose car collided with a telegraph pole last week has died.

John Pigg, 59, of Thaxted Road, Saffron Walden, was driving a Kia Rio Domino which left Grange Road, Duxford, and crashed into a telegraph pole at 1.20pm on Tuesday, September 10.

Mr Pigg was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge but died on Friday.
