Two men killed in A505 crash near Thriplow

Two men have died in a crash on the A505, which was shut for more than eight hours.

Two men have died after a two-car crash on the A505 near Thriplow during the early hours of this morning.

Police, ambulance, fire crews and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were all called after a collision involving a silver Vauxhall and a silver Mercedes near Keepers Cottage at about 1am.

A spokesman for Cambridegshire Constabulary confirmed that the two drivers died at the scene but no further information is available at this time.

The A505 was shut through the night but reopened at about 9.15am.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call police on 101.
