Two gold watches and a solid silver christening goblet are among items stolen in a string of burglaries in Royston.
Police are investigating the three incidents, all of which occurred between Thursday, September 11 and Monday, September 15 in Skylark Place and Fieldfare Way in the town.
The first burglary occurred in Skylark Place between 9am on Thursday, September 11, and 9am on Sunday, September 14. The offenders gained entry to the property by smashing open a door at the back of the house before making off with a Samsung 55” LCD TV.
In the same road at some time between 9pm on Saturday, September 13, and 9am on Sunday, September 14, patio doors at the rear of another home were smashed open, with the watches - an 18 karat gold Omega Seamaster watch, which has a black leather strap, and an 18 karat gold Slimline watch, which has a black strap - taken along with the christening goblet and other items.
The third burglary occurred in Fieldfare Way between 7.45pm and 9.45pm on Monday, September 15. Cash, a gold bracelet and a nine karat gold charm bracelet were stolen.
Detective Constable Jeanette Walker is investigating and said: “We believe two men in a car and two women on foot may have been in the area around the time of the burglaries in Skylark Place. We would like to identify these people as quickly as possible as they may have information that can assist our investigation.
“If you believe you know their identity or saw them, or anyone else, in the area please contact me. The person(s) responsible for the first burglary in Fieldfare Way may have also been seen by someone, particularly as they were moving a large TV. If anyone saw people moving a TV at night time, I would urge them to contact me.
