Two arrests after knifepoint robbery

TWO people have been arrested in connection with a knifepoint robbery in Melbourn.
A man threatened staff in the Co-op store in High Street, shortly after 4pm yesterday (March 21).
He grabbed some cigarettes and made off.
A 24-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of robbery today.
Both are currently at Parkside Police Station.
A spokesman for The Co-op said: “At 4:20pm yesterday (Monday March 21), our High Street store in Melbourn was raided by a man armed with a knife. He threatened two members of staff and stole a small quantity of cigarettes.
“The members of staff were thankfully unharmed, but are very badly shaken.”
