Two men were arrested after a fight broke out at a pub in Royston town centre yesterday evening.

Police were called just after 8pm yesterday to a report of a disturbance at the Jolly Postie in Baldock Street.

A 30-year-old man from Royston was arrested on suspicion of common assault and a public order offence and a 48-year-old man, also from the town, was also arrested on suspicion of common assault.

Both remain in police custody at this time.
