Under-13s Division Three
BASSINGBOURN overcame a three goal deficit to draw 6-6 with Biggleswade in an entertaining match.
Sean Faillettaz opened the scoring on 16 minutes but the home side were soon level.
Good work from James Smith allowed Faillettaz to regain the lead for the away side on 25 minutes but again the lead was brief as an equaliser sent the teams in at 2-2.
A goal glut of three goals in a 15 minute spell at the start of the second half seemed to have given Biggleswade the three points but with only seven minutes left on the clock Bassingbourn started an unbelievable comeback.
Jono Roope, Faillettaz and Smith scored to make the scores level but amazingly in stoppage time Faillettaz gave the away side the lead but the comeback only gave them a point as a speculative long shot from a Biggleswade player found the back of the net to make the final score 6-6.
