A CROW Country girl is showing her true colours this October by dying her hair pink in support of charity.

Dannii Onslow, 16, from Shepreth, is partaking in the fund-raising as part of Cancer Research UK’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

The natural brunette was inspired to take on the challenge to make more people aware of breast cancer and the fight for survival.

Staff at the Hair & Graces salon in Harston where Danni works part-time will apply the die on October 23, and she will keep the colour for a month.

Victoria Gilham, Cancer Research UK’s Area Volunteer Manager for North Hertfordshire, said: “Cancer Research UK’s work has underpinned today’s treatments for women with breast cancer. Our doctors, nurses and scientists continue to play a crucial role in finding new ways to diagnose, treat and prevent the disease.”
