THREE men are aiming to kayak 100 miles on Saturday to raise funds for charity.
Tom Ivey of Abbington Piggots and Joel and Julian Butt of Radwell will kayak 13-15 miles each day, in an eight-day trip for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth.
The trio, who are all amateurs will start off in Kingston-upon-Thames and will end their challenge in Oxford.
Tom said: "We came up with the idea about nine months ago and we are all very much looking forward to it.
"We've been training hard and we know what we've got to do.
"I'm a bit nervous at the moment, but it should be good fun.
"At the end of the day we're trying to raise as much money as we can for a charity that relies solely on donations like this. It's a very worthwhile cause."
