AFTER months of work, the Royston Town Centre Forum has launched its own website.

The new site has been set up to serve as a one-stop guide.

One of the main features of the site is the retailer search facility, which lets the user locate Royston shops by name, business activity, or by products stocked.

A town diary can also be found on the home page, with events in and around the town displayed.

The diary can be updated by any recognised Royston-based club or group, ensuring that it is one of the most complete listings for local events.

There is also part of the site that is dedicated to visitors, with a town guide, history, and accommodation sections.

Royston town centre manager Geraint Burnell said: "This site represents hundreds of hours of effort to gather, collate and display thousands of pieces of information.

"Inevitably, there will be errors and omissions, and anyone who spots something should communicate with me through the Contacts section.

"I will endeavour to deal with each message appropriately.

"In particular, I'm most keen that secretaries of clubs and associations should get in touch, so that I can issue them with instructions and passwords for them to maintain their own entries in the town diary.

"I hope that all users of Royston town centre will find this site both interesting and useful."
