More than 60 young people enjoyed half-term fun and games at a church holiday club.
Royston Methodist Church, in Queen’s Road, hosted the Big Top holiday club, which was led by youth worker John Hardwick, who brought along his friends Yo-yo the clown and Charlie the monkey.
Joan Munden, from Royston Methodist Church, said: “The children loved the crafts, including making juggling balls and masks, and joined in lots of team games, and quizzes. Bible stories of strong men, escape artists and lion tamers were at the centre of the all-together sessions, plus action packed songs.”
A big team of adults, led by Gill Grainger and Richard Elcock, acted as team leaders, quiz master and ring master, as well as organising games, crafts and snacks.
