Archant

Crooks broke into a van in Royston – damaging all the locks – and stole a power tool at some point between Sunday and Monday.

The thieves used an implement to get into the van, which was parked in a lay-by in Redwing Rise.

They then made off in an unknown direction.

If anyone has any information about this crime, call police on 101 and quote crime ref number: G4/16/77.

PCSO Sarah Lamb said: “I would like to take this opportunity to remind residents to secure vehicles and to take expensive tools and items out of your vans. If you have a driveway please consider parking your van close to your property or garage to limit the access to your van.”
