Three-year-old killed in sports car collision named

THE three-year-old girl who died after being struck by a sports car in Royston has been named.
Frances Chin, of Gresley Lodge, Old North Road in Royston, was rushed to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge after a red Mazda collided with her and a woman in Kneesworth Street on May 29.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics and medical staff she died in the hospital.
The inquest into her death is expected to find she died of multiple injuries, the woman survived but suffered leg injuries.
A 57-year-old man has been arrested and bailed in relation to the incident until July 19.
Hertfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which took place just after 3pm near The White Bear pub.
Inspector Matt Thompson said: “We are very keen to hear from anyone who saw the road traffic collision and so may be able to explain how it happened.
“If anyone witnessed anything and did not speak to officers at the scene, I would ask that you contact me via the non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222.”
