THE Melbourn Toy Library could be under threat unless a new chairperson is found. The library, which opened in 1992, takes place once a fortnight at Melbourn Village College. Current chairperson Fiona Nicholson said: "We lend out toys in the home and in the garden. "It's a great place to meet new people and is a good way to try out different toys," she said. The toy library is looking for someone who can spare about an hour-a-week and attend most of the sessions. "It can be anyone who can spare the time," she said. "It would be a shame if this was to close as it is one of the last toy libraries in the area." - If you can help or would like more details, call Fiona Nicholson on 01223 871115.
