Staff and pupils at a village pre-school are jumping for joy after it was rated outstanding by Ofsted inspectors.
Therfield Pre-school leader Tina Dowling said it is a ‘pleasure’ to be part of such a wonderful learning environment.
She said: “We as a pre-school are extremely fortunate to be based in such a beautiful village with such a supportive community.
“Myself and our deputy leader Natasha have been committed to meeting the needs of each and every child that comes through our doors, offering them the highest quality provision possible, and to have confirmation such as this that we are doing an ‘outstanding’ job makes it even more rewarding.
“We would both like to thank our pro-active committee – including our chairman Philippa Mackenzie – for their ongoing support, our tireless staff team who, through their dedication and hardwork have made these results possible, and most importantly of course the families and children at the school.”
