ARRIBA arriba! Pupil at Steeple Morden Primary School donned sombrero's and poncho's on Tuesday for a special day about Mexico. As part of the Class 2 pupils' geography project, they "travelled" to Mexico for the day. As well as wearing the traditional dress, they also made masks, pinata's and tried their hand at cooking some traditional Mexican dishes. In the afternoon it was party time with a traditional fiesta where the children put on their dancing shoes for a touch of salsa dancing. Class teacher Victoria Penty said: "It's been great fun having a go at all the traditional Mexican activities.
