SUPERMARKET giant Tesco is giving the Royston Farmers' Market a helping hand on Sunday.

It has allowed the Royston Town Centre Forum to place a large banner outside its superstore in Old North Road, Royston.

Town manager Geraint Burnell is hoping that the advertising will attract "a larger than usual" number of visitors to the market.

There is expected to be about 28 stalls displaying goods including meat and cheese, preserves, and cooked items.

# The market at Market Hill will run on Sunday from 10am-2pm.
