ROYSTON Tennis Club made a ‘net’ profit of £200 last week when they were presented with a cheque.

Tesco Extra Royston, which raises funds for local organisations and groups, donated the money to be spent on equipment for the junior teams and a Tesco Challenge Junior Tournament trophy.

Tesco community champion Mandy Jinkerson said: “The new courts are a great facility for the local community and are pleased that the donation will be used to encourage younger players to enjoy keeping fit and healthy.”
