CROWDS flocked to the Meldreth Christmas tree festival.
The event, which was held at Holy Trinity Church, allowed visitors to browse around 30 different Christmas trees, decorated by people from the village.
And pupils at the village school were treated to their own private viewing last week.
Jill Price, from the organising committee, said: "The festival is a most enjoyable occasion that really brings all the people of the village together.
"People gave very generously, and takings were higher than usual.
