FOUR fire engines were called to a suspected arson attack in Newmarket Road, Royston, in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday).
Hertfordshire Police said that multiple fires were lit on both the first and ground floors of the derelict building, formerly the Taste of India restaurant.
Firefighters from Royston, Buntingford and Baldock brought the blaze under control using three jets and wearing breathing apparatus.
