RESIDENTS of South Cambridgeshire may win a cash prize if they complete an energy survey.
Survey packs will be dropping through selected letterboxes this week as South Cambridgeshire District Council takes part in a national energy efficiency survey to identify and help households living in fuel poverty.
Cllr Susan Ellington, environmental services portfolio holder adds, "It is important that we carry out this survey and I would ask householders, whether they own or rent your properties, to complete and return the form that will arrive in the next few days."
The district council is working alongside 35 other local authorities to help the Government build a clear picture of how many people are living in fuel poverty in the eastern region.
Households returning their completed surveys before December 19 will be entered into a draw to win one of four £320 cash prizes.
They could also benefit from energy efficiency advice and grant funding to improve the energy efficiency of their homes.
