AFTER 14 years service at Roysia surgery in Royston, practice manager Yvonne Buckley is retiring.
Yvonne, who came to the Burns Road surgery in 1994, will leave at the end of the month.
She said: "Before I became practice manager I was on reception, so I've got to know a lot of the patients over the years."
She is eagerly anticipating retirement, although she has yet to make definite plans for the future.
"I have one grandchild in Leicester, and another on the way in Somerset, so I suspect we'll be doing plenty of visiting.
"I'm looking forward to my retirement, but I'll miss everyone at the surgery."
