A GROUP of mothers from Royston have set up a support group for children with autism and other learning difficulties.
Earlier this year The Crow reported on the efforts of the mothers to get the group off the ground. It is now up and running, and meets every Thursday at the Meridian Youth Centre.
A spokesman for the group said: "We've got 12-15 children coming on a regular basis, and have plenty more who are interested.
"So we are looking for some extra help in terms of volunteers. It would be a great opportunity for young people wishing to get involved in education or childcare to get some experience."

The spokesman added that the group are grateful to the Royston branch of Mencap, and the Royston Extended Schools initiative, for their help and support in starting the group.
If you are interested in volunteering, and are willing to undergo a CRB check, contact Kyra Crossman on 01763 220921.
