MUDDY fun was had during the North Herts district council half term play ranger sessions.
Play sessions for children took place in Royston and Ashwell, and were said to be well attended on all days.
A spokesman for the district council said: "The weather threw everything it could at youngsters, but instead of it dampening spirits, officers used the rain to their advantage with football in the mud proving to be particularly popular."
More Play Ranger sessions will be running at Easter. See the district council website www.north-herts.gov.uk for more details nearer the time.
