STUDENTS at Bassingbourn Village College strutted their stuff on the catwalk on Thursday to raise money for their leaver's ball. And the budding catwalk queens, from Year 11, raised more than £1,300. The girls showcased a collection of prom and evening wear from local business Karen Forte Bridal and Evening Wear and were escorted by their male counterparts. Chris Foster, acting head of Year 11, said: "It went extremely well and all the students looked absolutely amazing. "It was quite hectic to put it together, but it was worth it on the night. They managed to raise a huge chunk of what they need for their leavers ball so it was brilliant.
