GRENEWAY School in Royston turned its maths centre into a roadshow this week with more than 40 activities for the pupils to test their wits.
The maths roadshow for pupils in Years 5 and 7 was designed to encourage them to use their problem-solving skills.
Maths co-ordinator Jonathan Hirst said: "The children have really enjoyed taking part.
"Some tasks involved a great deal of teamwork, where they had to work together to overcome problems. Others involved them pitting their wits against one another.
"We will continue to run such activities in the future, as the children not only had fun, but also learned at the same time. It was nice doing something like this, making maths a bit different.
