STARS of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing waltzed into a Crow Country dance school last weekend to celebrate the studio’s first anniversary.

The Studio – CT, in Flint Cross, was visited by Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova – who have both won the contest with Jill Halfpenny and Darren Gough respectively, as well as dancing with Rugby World Cup winner Matt Dawson and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton.

Claire Thompson, owner of The Studio, said: “Having Darren and Lilia at The Studio – CT certainly made the first anniversary one to remember, they were so friendly and taught our pupils and competitors lots of excellent tips.”

“Everyone was so excited, and it was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to meet them, and take home signed pictures of them.”

Workshops in ballroom, Latin and salsa dancing were taught to members on Sunday by the small screen stars, who also chatted with the performers.
