A NAMELESS Royston street could be given the title Market Link.
At present the road, between Market Hill and Fish Hill, is nameless.
Suggestions had been made that the road be dedicated to former mayor of Royston, Peter Lill, who died in 2008. But speaking at Wednesday meeting of North Herts district council's Royston area committee, Cllr F John Smith said: "I don't doubt Peter Lill will have something named in his honour in due course, but he deserves something a bit more prominent than this small road."
The committee resolved to suggest the name Market Link, and their comments will be passed on to highways officials at the district council
