One of Crow country’s top tourist attractions has been forced to close after high winds caused damage over the weekend.
Winds of up to 80mph hit the area on Friday and Saturday during stormy weather. As a result, the Imperial War Museum at Duxford will be closed “until further notice” until damage caused by the gales is repaired.
A spokesman for the museum said: “Due to structural damage caused by high winds, IWM Duxford is closed until further notice.
“We understand that this news will be disappointing to visitors hoping to enjoy our February half term activities. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
