People in Royston and South Cambs are invited to take part in a consultation on proposals to return the 26 off peak bus service back to hourly.
The service was reduced to every two hours in January but following the initial response, Stagecoach is asking to hear bus users’ thoughts on new proposals to reinstate the hourly service on a slightly different route.
Instead of going into Cambridge, the route – which starts at Royston and goes through Melbourn, Shepreth and Foxton – would terminate at Trumpington Park and Ride where connections can be made to the city centre or Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Stagecoach have said that in order for this to happen they would have to scrap the 27 service from the Mordens to Cambridge, which goes through Bassingbourn, Kneesworth and Meldreth.
See www.stagecoachbus.com/promos-and-offers/east/royston-spring-2017 to have your say before March 19.
