WASTE and recycling collections in South Cambridgeshire have been suspended today (Thursday February 5) due to the adverse weather conditions.
Dale Robinson, Corporate Manager for Health & Environmental Services at South Cambridgeshire District Council, said: "Unfortunately, despite our best attempts, this morning's weather and road conditions have beaten us.
"Whilst we managed on Monday, today we have not been successful, but will be doing out best to keep disruption to residents to a minimum."
Weather permitting, anyone due for a collection today will have their waste and recycling collected tomorrow (Friday February 6). Collections scheduled for Friday should take place on Saturday.
Residents are advised to leave their bins and boxes out.
