Conservatives have comfortably held on to the Melbourn seat in the South Cambridgeshire District Council elections.

Conservative Val Barrett has retained her seat for South Cambridgeshire District Council.

The results were as followed:

Val Barrett, Con – 936 (ELECTED)

Angela Patrick, Lab – 282

Alexander Wasyliw, Lib Dem – 311.
