WITH just one week to go, preparations for the Buntingford carnival are well under way.
During the one-day spectacular, the sights and sounds of the 1950s and 1960s will be brought to life by rock and roll and jazz bands including Pete Baker's Hot and Crusty Jazzers, and dance troupes from Millfield and Layston Schools, The Buntingford Dancing School and Capricorn Majorettes.
Some of the attractions will include fairground rides, trade stalls, strolling entertainers and clowns as well as displays and exhibitions featuring, art, heritage, a model railway and 1950s and 1960s motorbikes.
The carnival procession will begin at 3pm.
