The second Working for Royston meeting takes place this week – and organisers are urging those who care about the town and want to find out more about ongoing issues to go along.
Sally Webster and Carol Stanier started the group at the end of last year, and were please when they had 25 people at their first meeting in November at the Old Bull Inn in Royston’s High Street – and hope they can do even better this time.
There will be speakers from various action groups – including Lynsey Langdon of Make the A505 Safer, the Royston Rail Users Group, and Maggie Allen from Royston Community Health, who has worked tirelessley to save the town’s hospital.
Its on Wednesday at 7.30pm in the ballroom of the pub, so go along and bring relatives, friends and neighbours. All welcome.
