The owner of a chihuahaua which went missing more than a month ago is asking the man whose dog chased her away to come forward.

Kaz Wugland lost her beloved pet Lulu on September 28 after a black Labrador chased her while she was being walked at about 6pm.

Dozens of people have since come forward to help search for the two-year-old dog but no one has seen her since.

Kaz told the Royston Crow: “She was chased by a black Labrador and I have never seen the man who was walking it before or again.

“I just want to speak to the man whose dog it was.

“He didn’t help to look for her or anything.

“I just want to know why he did what he did. I would have stopped and helped, so why didn’t he?”

On the evening she went missing Kaz and Lulu were walking close to South End, Bassingbourn, known locally as the ‘Litlington Stretch’.

Helpers are still looking out for little Lulu and posting updates on a Facebook page set up by Kaz called ‘Dedicated to Lulu Wagland’, which has attracted more than 200 likes.

“I cannot thank everyone enough for all their help and the support they have given me,” she said.

“It is what has got me through.”

Kaz has looked after Lulu since she was eight weeks old and is refusing to call off the search.

She said: “I am just trying to do everything we can to find her.

“I don’t know if someone has her and just doesn’t have the Internet and can’t see we are looking for her, or if they have her and aren’t going to give her back.

“If they have her and want to leave her in a safe place, say at the vets, that would be ok, I wouldn’t ask any questions.

“I just want her back.”

Kaz is asking that if anyone finds Lulu that they do not chase her but instead speak to her softly and call Kaz on 01763 221899 or 07748 666270.
