Two village schools took delivery of a state-of-the-art classroom bus this week.
The bus, the only one of its kind in the country, will be based at Barley and Barkway first schools. It was commissioned yesterday (Wednesday), when parish minister Rev Jonathan Jasper came to bless the vehicle, which has been sponsored by the Jacobs Foundation in conjunction with Newsells Park Stud.
A spokesman for the schools said: “The bus has a state-of-the-art network enabling pupils to research, capture and share all manner of learning in all environments via a suite of iPads.
“Visits are being planned to areas of scientific interest to enhance learning.”
