St Mary's Primary School staged its annual pantomime, which this year was the tale of Jack and the Beanstalk.

Teacher Gavin Pearce said: "Year 6 pupils played the parts, with the Year 5 choir providing the music.

"We do a pantomime every year after Christmas, and it gives the whole school something to look forward to at the start of the new term."

The pantomime, which also featured a "working" beanstalk, was performed to the rest of the school, and to parents and families.
