School serving up a Beauty of a show
YOUNG actors and actresses will roar into life later this month when they perform their annual musical.
This year’s show at the Meridian School, in Garden Walk, Royston, will be Beauty and the Beast, and the cast have been putting the finishing touches on the production ahead of the opening night, on November 22.
Dr Michael Firth, headteacher at Meridian, said the show promises to be a “stunning production”.
Beauty and the Beast runs from Thursday, November 22, until Saturday, November 24, at the school, with performances starting at 7.30pm.
There will also be a 2pm matinee where guests will be invited to dress up as a Disney character, while the evening performance on Saturday will be a black tie affair, with guests receiving a glass of sparkling wine on arrival.
