GOVERNORS, parents and staff at Barkway VA First School are delighted after the latest Ofsted report.
The inspection led to Ofsted saying: "This is a good school which knows itself well."
It continued that teachers and staff knew pupils well and gave strong support.
Barkway scored highly, too, in a recent SIAS (Statutory Inspection of Anglian Schools inspectors report.
The SIAS inspector gave the school an overwhelming good assessment and claimed that "this is a special school".
Head teacher Jenny Heinzelmann said: "Our school was last inspected in January 2000 and has clearly built on the successes which were noted then to create a community in which all individuals are achievers.
"We are pleased to have been able to show to others the many strengths of our school and to have had such positive comments on our process of self-evaluation.
