GRENEWAY School in Royston will host a concert to raise funds to help two talented young musicians pay school fees.

The concert, which takes place on Saturday, is in aid of Hollie Woodley and James Richardson. As reported in The Crow in April, they have been accepted for the The Guildhall School of Music and The Royal College of Music respectively.

Fees for both schools are approximately £3,000 per year.

Hollie and James will both be playing with the Royston Town Band, while also performing duets together and some solos.

James is a member of another band, Dilemma, who will also play some numbers.

Both children are Year 8 pupils at Greneway, which has donated the use of its facilities free of charge.

The concert will run from 7-9pm, with refreshments available during the interval.

Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for children, and are available from Greneway School, or by calling Corinne Woodley on 07834 970789, or Tony Richardson on 07967 570973.
