CHILDREN at Litlington Pre-School have been awarded a potted oak tree by BBC TV channel CBeebies.
The children were given the sapling as a reward for their efforts during a week-long recycling project, which saw them follow in the footsteps of CBeebies characters Charlie and Lola.
Deputy pre-school leader Angela Wilson said: "We were very pleased with the amount that we were able to recycle.
"The children really entered into the spirit of recycling and a lot of them are getting their parents to do it as well now.
