Three cars and a lorry collided betwen junctions 9 and 8 southbound


Police are appealing for information after 20 items of jewellery, three watches, a mirror and a Samsung LED television were stolen in a Royston burglary.

Thieves broke into the rear of a house in Skylark Place by smashing the glass of the kitchen door and stole numerous items including a Dolce and Gabbana mirror, a 14-carat gold Hokitika necklace and a Swarovski crystal ring.

Also taken were a nine-carat gold men’s wedding band, a vintage 1950s gold rotary ladies watch and a pair of Silver Drop Earrings.

The burglary took place between Thursday, September 11 and Sunday, September 14.
