How’s your youngster with a camera? Their snaps could feature in next year’s town calendar if they win a photography competition.
Royston Town Council is running the Naturally Royston photography contest, which is open to anyone aged under 16 who either lives or goes to school in the town.
Young snappers need to identify locations from cryptic clues posted on the town council website and take photographs of them – with up to five entries each allowed.
Entries are welcome until August 1. The best 12, as chosen by a panel of judges, will feature in the 2019 town calendar. There is also a first prize of four tickets to the Royston Picture Palace.
This is the competition’s second iteration. Last year’s contest and calendar sales raised £455 for the Town Mayor’s Community Trust Fund.
