A Royston woman is set to take to the sky for a parachute jump to raise money for a charity which helps young children with dementia.

Paula Smith, who studied events management at Brighton University, will hold a live music event on Sunday at The Boars Head in Market Hill to raise money for the Hope for Hollie Foundation, which helps children with Niemann Pick.

Less than 50 children have this condition in the UK and around 1,000 young people suffer from it worldwide.

The live music event will include a raffle to raise extra funds.

Paula will complete the jump on July 2, to raise money to support these children and their families as well as helping towards research funding.
