‘Work is progressing well’ on Royston Splash Park, with a view to opening as planned in May.
Work on the £160,000 project for the splash park in Priory Memorial Gardens began in the autumn.
Councillor Jane Gray, responsible for leisure at North Herts District Council, said: “We are currently liaising with the utilities company responsible for connecting the power to the park and the surface pads have already been installed in preparation for the launch in the spring.”
The splash park will include features such as interactive water jets, a may pole and a play stream for younger children.
