Royston’s Slimming World manager has rounded off a successful 2016 by meeting Stephen Mulhern.
Patricia Sampson chatted with the TV presenter and magician, who hosted the weight loss firm’s annual awards with founder and chair Margaret Miles-Bramwell OBE.
“I couldn’t be prouder of all of the members in Royston,” said Patricia.
“They’ve lost fantastic amounts of weight throughout 2016, with many of them making their weight loss dreams come true by hitting their target weight, improving their health and confidence, and more.
“Every week I feel so lucky to play even a small part in people’s achievements and I felt very honoured to represent all of the Slimming World groups in Royston when I met Stephen.”
About the Birmingham awards, Catchphrase and Britain’s Got More Talent host Stephen said: “I’m known for my magic tricks and there was definitely magic in the air.
“The stories I heard from people who had lost amazing amounts of weight and transformed themselves – inside and out – were so inspirational.”
