The headteacher of Meridian School paid tribute to his “record breaking” students at an annual presentation meeting.
In his review of the year, headteacher Dr Michael Firth said: “Royston should be a proud town this evening. These students are great ambassadors for our community. They are achieving record breaking results for the school, they are hard workers and a pleasure to teach. They are excellent role models and decent people who will make a great contribution in the future. I am enormously proud of them, their teachers and grateful to the support we have received from their parents.
“We are now well into a new academic year, and look forward to successful results, for which this year’s students are working particularly hard.”
