Rotarians visited two Royston care homes in the last week to help put up Christmas trees carrying on a tradition they started on the former wards of Royston Hospital.
On Saturday last week they went to St George’s Care Home in Kneesworth Street where three trees were decorated.
Residents and Rotarians were treated to festive cheer of warm mulled wine with mince pies.
On Monday it was the turn of Richard Cox House in Dog Kennel Lane. where all were treated to sherry and mince pies and Christmas music playing in the background.
