STUDENTS put in a fang-tastic performance during a school production of Dracula Spectacula.

More than 90 pupils from Greneway School in Royston were involved in the musical, with a team of 20 more behind the scenes. It was performed to an audience of families and friends last week.

An ambitious script and musical score was brought to life with colourful costumes and dramatic scenery. Many of the children gave up their evenings and weekends to prepare for the show.

Leader of music at Greneway, Shaunaid Crosby said “I am really excited by the talented cast we have; their energy and enthusiasm during rehearsals has been fantastic.

“This is a complex story, based on the theme of Count Dracula, with challenging songs and choreography. Everyone gave 100 per cent over the past few months and the performances were amazing.”
