Royston Photographic Society has announced the winner of its February competition - with entrants invited to submit their best pictures in any category.
Society member Bob Coote claimed the victory with this photo of a wild bear, with judges praising the texture in the bear's coat and how it stands out from the background despite its natural camouflage.
Meanwhile members have been out and about in the town for the society's archive project in partnership with Royston Museum, aiming to capture style, design, fashion, people, architecture and areas of potential change and development.
The society intends for this to become a regular exercise so that their records build an ongoing picture of Royston.
Any town organisation which has photo archives and would like to join forces to help with the project is invited to get in touch by calling Peter Baker on 07921 191887.
