Parents at a Royston primary school were given the chance to get an insight into all the different activities their children can get involved in during its curriculum week.
Teachers at Roman Way First School set up a number of activities based on the book Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.
The activities were planned in a similar way to those the teachers plan for topics using cross-curricular links. Each activity covers an aspect of the curriculum and each class has an allotted time during which parents are invited to come into the school hall and join in the activities with their child.
On Thursday, children came to school dressed as their favourite book character with a book to share with children in another class as part of World Book Day.
